Major spring AC maintenance was scheduled for a commercial customer in Santa Monica, CA. The technician inspected all three Carrier split systems: flushing drain lines, washing coils, testing refrigerant pressures and completing the rest of the spring checklist. All units functional and no issues to report.
Responded to a freezer call for a commercial customer in Santa Monica CA. The technician found their Traulsen down and running at 34 degrees and frozen over to the drain pan. After troubleshooting the system, lifting pan and coil to defrost all the ice, the technician reset the heaters, adjusted the racks inside to improve airflow and re-assembled the unit. System back to negative temperatures and product safe.

Upon arrival, the technician found their commercial split Carrier system with a dirty evaporator coil, plugged filters and the damper closed for the restroom. Also found the auxiliary drain line leaking water over the sink. Will need to quote filter replacement, evaporator coil cleaning, drain line flush and air balance to get air back to the bathroom. Unit partially functional for now, submitting bid to customer.
